At long last I’ve heard from you and very glad that you still treasured our memories in ait. I’d like to ask you if you still keep our our picture on the plate which was taken in one of the zoos in bangkok, thailand. Can you still remember your first term in ait without your hubby and the newly born ruth kaye where you wanted me to sleep always in your room during night time just to have a chaperon . . . he. . he . . . cause you were homesick. We used to go to the TV room together but it did not last long cause I went back home after your first term the reason I suggested to let your loving hubby Ruel to come to AIT to be with you the reason why you have thailand made baby becca. Honestly, my heart leaps for joy cause both of you have reached the higher level in your careers and my congratulations to both of you doctors. You are very lucky my dear friend cause God has given you everything a loving husband, lovely daughters, nice jobs and beautiful house that makes me say you are happy with your life. What else you can ask from God, just don’t forget your relationship with the Almighty God. You know Sharon Singson has just finished her ph d in AIT last year and if you know of Stella Nepal my batchmate is here in the US with the family. Her husband is a professor in one of the universities in Texas and we keep our communications always using the state of the art technology the email, phone and so forth. Speaking of Maricar, I remembered I met her in New York two years ago and now she is in Long Angeles, California, that is good so that I can email to her and give her a warm welcome. By the way, how’s your family referring to your siblings Lulu, Tony, Bobby and the rest. How about your dad? You know Luz Galon your neighbor is here in New York and has been in coma condition since last year. Just give my love to all our classmates and friends out there!!! Till my next email.

I am glad I heard from you now. Bitaw, I just missed you a lot and so excited to have your reply everytime I send you an email. Of course, I missed JHORE-Z too. At least for Honey I’ve already received two emails while Eva though we haven’t started communicating through this blog but I saw her on the pictures that you downloaded taken at the residence of ruth cabs during the Jan. 2 reunion with some of our classmates like the greatest lady Luna Melendez, Nora the computer wizzard, Honey Gladys, Marivic, Pastor Gina Liza Roa, Eugenio with the wife and the rest of our classmates and of course your husband Jun and your mom. It refreshes my memories during our high school days where we had lots of fun. Look at you now, you’re a successful businesswoman and true servant of God. I am glad that until this time you continue serving our living God. At least yourself and Gina Liza Roa can help pray for the rest of us to be nearer to God for we are now in the last days as predicted in the book of Revelations of the Holy Bible. I can’t imagine I’m here in America which right now is experiencing the cool weather cause it is snowing and you can see ice everywhere. It seems we are inside a refrigerator frozen like a meat cause our house is surrounded with snow and it’s freezing much more if you are outside the house there you can feel that your hands and feet are already frozen. Because right now, I am shoveling the snow and love to send you some of the snows he. . . he . . . Judah, modesty aside, somebody not from our race here in the US had mistakenly said that I looked like in the twenties and single he . . he. . . so meaning I don’t have that chubby face anymore. I will wait for the pictures that you are going to send me. Here the weather is sunny, summer time is nearing. Rain in Manila is very rare, people are expecting a very warm summer this April. Oh…How i love to feel the snow, but frankly i do not see myself wanting to live in a snow-filled area. I cannot even stay long in an airconditioned room much more on an area with snow? Thanks, but no thanks. I am contented with electric fans until now. Yes, it’s truly refreshing to know that we’ve come so far from the lives we lived in CDO, the banana que & water days in high school, the endless sharing of family experiences, the want-to-have experiences like your good old teeth to be extracted for a false one (remember?) only to realize that original teeth are very precious and lasting. I could not even recollect most of them but i know deep in my heart there were numerous experiences. One day when you come back, i suggest we just splurge on time and really spend one day just talking about all our moments together. Ruth dearie, i just want to let you know (again) that i am very joyful that you have made your “communication line” available. I praise Jesus that somewhere in your heart He was able to remind you to get “connected”. ‘Cause no matter who we are, what we have achieved, where we are located, how we perform in our work, why we do things differently, You & I are FRIENDS. We started to be the best of friends, then we realized that we are cousins. Cool! Mysterious ways huh! Let’s just be grounded in God’s promises and I truly believe that we can even do far better things than what we can imagine. I encourage you to always think BIG! It’s free! Nobody will stop us. And even if our bones & flesh are starting to go with our age, our heart will forever be taut and young because of the fond memories we have. Is this not a wonderful blessing by God? I do look forward to age gracefully with my loved ones, & very close friends. And you are one of the few!

The election season is now in! Political ads on TV & radio are very common, all the more this coming March when all the local campaign will start. It’s a masquarade out here. Politicians an ordinary citizen (now) in public markets, poor communities, and far-flung cities just wanting to be seated again in the national seats (Senatorial). Comelec people are now very busy in whatever assignment they have to do for this election. I earnestly pray that this time pure-hearted & right-motive personalities will take their rightful place in the Senate & other local positions. That men of integrity will be catapulted to the positions God has prepared for them. Let’s continue praying unceasingly for this nation.

I am amazed by what you did with our site! So interesting! Also enjoyed the water rafting pix…made me realized how much i missed CDO’s nature. I’ll make sure to get that experience you had.
Wasn’t able to push thro’ with the Cebu Pacific booking. Their lines were so BZ! I will try once more then, if not im really not bound to be travelling yet.
Where are the people now? Talked with Honey this afternoon. She’s in Manila for a business trip. She will be sleeping over tomorrow evening & get up early for the flight back to CDO.

yes!.. it was such a very tsada, exciting experience!. u should try it. tsada kung daghan mo para bibo. it was luck on our part that the water was clear when we took the rafting. that’s why the pics came out very tsada pud. (courtesy of Red Rafts… hehehe.. competensiya ra ba sila sa rafting company ni Rupert). there would be times man gud daw na lubog ang tubig especially if gikan nag-ulan. soon and one of these days i would try the rappel diha sa macahambus adventure park

where ang mga tawo nga people now?.. who ??..who??.. hehehe.. jok!.. bitaw.. everybody is busy man gud. me, am also busy pero taking a break sometimes, that’s why i would be here online. (sometimes singit-singit during office hours.. hehe.. ssshhh) … i was able to chika-chika with Maricar via the yahoo messenger the other week - sa balay pud oi, dili during office hours ha- basin sumbong ko ninyo sa akong boss. hehe… maybe Maricar is also busy these days (last time we talked- she’s in LA of the USofA) coz i didnt see her online at YM lately and she didnt reply yet sa akong email.
I was able to get in touch with Ruth of NY (via email) before I left for gensan last feb28th. I asked her to send her pics for uploading here.. pero, busy pa pud tingali at this time.

So sorry that it took me long to reply to your email cause I was busy for the past few days. Another reason apart from being busy was the fact that I wanted to email you with the downloaded pictures of myself and my husband. I do have pictures stored in my digital camera but I don’t know how to connect it in the computer so that I can download it to this website. I had a chance to ask Nora via email on how to do it but still I didn’t get it. I am very dumb when it comes to computer. Anyways, I will try to ask some of my friends here to help me with all the installations so that I can download our pictures. I emailed Maricar but sad to note that until now I haven’t heard from her. About Honey she had replied to my previous email but I haven’t replied her yet. Judah, I want to commend you for you have a retentive memory on my good teeth which I intentionally replaced with a false one. The reason why I had them extracted because in those days I was attracted to a silver ring attached to the teeth. You are right that original teeth are prescious and lasting. I regretted cause those teeth were the only one missing until this very moment. I thought all the while that it happened during my college days. You are really my true barkada. I remembered the banana que and ice water days but was reluctant to mention cause I wasn’t so sure if you were having those food as your snacks since you were born with a golden spoon. About me I didn’t have any doubts cause I belong to a big family hence gamay ra ang balon he. . . he . We are planning to go back home for good next year if God permits and take note you will be the first person I will call as soon as we arrive in NAIA.

By the way, how is the politics there esp. that election is fast approaching. We just pray that God will annoint each one of the voters to really elect those leaders whose best interests are for the people and not for their personal interests. We should pray harder that the practices during election like vote buying and massive cheating will be discouraged. It is time for our country to attain changes so that our economy will be improved.

I think I am talking too much for you to get bored and sleepy hence I am finally stopping from here. Just regards me to all our classmates esp. those who are religiously visiting this site and pardon my grammar. yeah, how can i forget your generosity and the memories we shared in ait. those years spent in thailand were the best years of my life - with my love and devotion ruel, kaye and becca. indeed, GOD is so good to us.

of course, i remember sharon. she was the girls with chinita eyes and curly hair just like mine, right? i remember also stella. she is the one married to a nepalese guy,right?

ruthie, im sure you and lebbie have also reach greater heights both in love and career. im sure in due time you also be blessed with beautiful kids. just be patient..

yes, ive heard that nang luz galon is in a coma. in fact, we even heard that she passed away.. but im glad that she is still alive. btw, who is taking care of her? ive heard her daughter liza is there but still struggling with work. i hope nang luz will eventually wake up and come home to the philippines.

yeah,as to lulu - she has two sons now. a twelve year old graduating from elementary this march, just like my second born, becca. her second son is two years old. both were delivered through C section. bobby is a father of four children. among us, he is the prolific one. he used to have two sons. used to because the eldest-longlong-passed away at a tender age of barely 3. he had a congenital heart disease. he was operated when he was 3 months old and at almost 3 years old was operated again but he did not survive. his frail body was not able to withstand the operation, which were both done at the heart center in manila. bobby has now 1 surviving son and two daughters.

tony, is still a bachelor - an elusive one at that. we often joke that he might end up a bachelor for life. magtukod nalang siya parlor instead of a dental clinic. to which he will just laugh it off. on the other hand, we are glad that he is still single because he helps us all in our financial problem. but to be honest, we want him to marry so that he will have a family of his own. my older brother - the other dentist-is a captain in the navy assigned in cebu city. our eldest is a civil engineer married to a nurse. they have two sons.

so there… but about the plate with our pictures taken in safari world - sad to say it was burned when our house in del pilar got burned on february 14, 2001.

the burned house is now replaced with a three storey concrete house. the construction is still going on due to financial constraints.

btw, ruthie do you remember weng(my batchmate from up) and joey cajegas of cebu city? they are now living in texas. they have two sons - cyam and johann. joey is working in one of the electronics company there. dulce and jegz restificar are also there in the us. the benigno’s-our neighbor in del pilar are living in odessa, texas. daisy may - a doctor is a resident in one of the hospitals in LA. my friend taneng jones - a civil engineer is in texas.
